June 2022- Colgate University Writer's Workshop

I've recently been accepted into the 2022 Colgate Writer's Worskhop for June, 2022 with a scholarship! I sent in some sample chapters from my upcoming memoir and got in! I am so excited as this will be the perfect place to work on my craft, meet with agents and publishers and get to know other writers. What a blessing

Today I had the honor of being a guest on Conor "Story of a Storyteller" podcast. We talked about living abroad, living in the Middle East, outrunning the 2004 tsunami, and the people who inspired me to write growing up. My mom, Ellen, and my high school English teacher, Ginnah, both encouraged me to read and write.

Interview on the Ghostman Radio Show with Mark Antony Raines

Yesterday I was honored to be on the British "Ghostman Radio Show" with Mark Antony Raines. Mark specializes in paranormal, comedy, horror, aliens, bigfoot and authors! A very interesting mix and I was excited to be on his show. We chatted about life in the Middle East, the 2004 tsunami as well as my English as a Second language teaching and how things are going in my job right now.

I was recently asked to come on the Douglas Coleman show to talk about my years teaching in the Middle East, experiencing the 2004 tsunami as well as introducing my upcoming memoir, Beautiful Possibilities. I was so thankful for this opportunity. Writing a book, marketing it, and getting it published is still so foreign to me but I am learning it all as I go.
